Three teenagers were charged following an investigation into alleged vehicle and affray related offences in Wee Waa.

Officers attached to Oxley Police District arrested a 13-year-old boy about 9.40pm on February 20, in Wee Waa. He was taken to Wee Waa Police Station where he was charged with affray, common assault, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and breach of bail.

He was refused bail to appear at a Children’s Court the following day, February 21, where he was released on strict conditional bail. He re-appeared in court on March 2.

Following further inquiries, on February 21, a 15-year-old boy and a 14-year-old boy were arrested at Wee Waa and taken to Wee Waa Police Station, where the older boy was charged with be carried in conveyance taken without consent of owner, and passenger not disclose driver’s/other passenger’s identity. The 14-year-old was charged with affray and common assault.

They were both released on strict conditional bail to appear at a Children’s Court on April 27.
