The New Kings Jewellers in Narrabri has acquired a licence to deal in second hand antiques, a field which traditionally interests the lover of fine workmanship as well as the buyer who recognises genuine antiques as a sound commercial investment.
New Kings this week presents a display of antique jewellery and silver which is certain to attract attention.
The collection is attractively featured in King’s window which has been arranged in period style.
The move by Kings into the buying and selling of antiques reflects a strong interest in this district in antique craftsmanship, the general manager of the New Kings Mr Brian Reid told The Courier.
“We are looking forward to hearing from people in the area who have interesting pieces they would like to talk about or have valued,” he said.
“Just come in for a look around a chat.”
