Inner Wheel District A55 chairperson Christine Gallagher attended the Narrabri club’s luncheon held at the home of Len and Ros Hall on Tuesday, May 9.

District A55 covers Alstonville, Ballina, Forster/Tuncurry, Grafton, Inverell, Lismore, Port Macquarie West, Tamworth, Wee Waa and Narrabri.

Mrs Gallagher travelled from Alstonville to attend the meeting.

“It was a real pleasure to meet other ladies from Inner Wheel Narrabri,” said Mrs Gallagher.

“I wish to thank the members of the club for making my visit very enjoyable.

“It was terrific to learn about the projects the club is doing and the great times you all enjoy together.

“I am relatively new to Inner Wheel being a member at Alstonville for six years now, and I am active within my club as membership officer.

“As District Chairman I wish to see our clubs grow and move into the future, to modernise and meet the needs and expectations of younger members while keeping our values and purpose that were established since inception.”

The organisation is a worldwide network sharing teamwork, communication, and leadership skills.

Whilst encouraging women to develop friendship and support, Inner Wheel promotes community service and taking action for lasting change.
