SierraTek Global have partnered with fellow Australian innovation company INCYT, pronounced “In-Sight”.

INCYT delivers robust, plug and play smart sensors tailored specifically for agriculture.

This innovative ecosystem includes weather stations, soil moisture probes, water monitoring solutions, spray advisory systems, and more.

Equipped with best-in-class technology, these sensors offer seamless connectivity and exceptional performance, even in Australia’s demanding environmental conditions.

INCYT utilises a hybrid network approach, using the strengths of the latest IoT technology to deliver unbeatable performance in harsh, remote agriculture environments.

This relationship will see SierraTek Global as a local installation provider, technical support service for the INCYT IoT product range.

SierraTek Global managing director, Jamie Condon has been looking for a like-minded company for many years that could supply quality AgTech Sensors, that would stand up to the tough conditions here in Australia, and also suit the ever-increasing needs and demands of Aussie farmers.

“The INCYT AgTech ecosystem is a game changer, it is exactly what we have been looking for, as soon you hold one of these sensors in your hand you know it is quality, it is designed and priced well to suit the market,” Jamie said.

“Another point of difference is their complete range of sensors that make up an entire on-farm solution or go with just a single device, it really is a choose your own adventure mix and match system to suit your farm needs.

“There is a solution to virtually monitor or track everything on the farm, if our customers want control of their assets as well, the INCYT ecosystem integrates perfectly with our SierraNet platform that will provide a complete monitoring and control solution for irrigation pumps and gates, and other farm-based infrastructure and assets.”

INCYT partners and operations manager, Katie Churchill said INCYT’s parent company LX Group has a 16-year heritage as an award-winning IoT product design company.

“This enabled us to build and deliver an end to end ‘sensor to cloud’ user experience, with INCYT support across the entire ecosystem,” Katie said.

“We have designed the local telemetry device (Blue Node) and network gateway (XR Base Station) from the bottom up.

“We couple these with best-in-class sensors from top suppliers around the globe.

“From push and click attachments connecting the sensors to the Blue Node, to QR code commissioning and smart sensor auto-configuring this ecosystem is designed for ease of use.”

These smart sensors deliver real-time data on crucial parameters such as weather conditions, soil moisture levels, and water levels.

By transmitting this information directly to farmers’ smartphones or computers, they enable farmers to make data-driven decisions and optimize their practices.

From a farming family in Inverell, INCYT founder recognised the opportunities in agriculture for IoT smart sensors.

His father would regularly have to cut trips short or be in frequent correspondence with those back home in order to check in with the status of the farm.

A product ecosystem working 24/7 and reporting straight to a mobile device or computer eradicates that barrier to work/life balance, as real-time updates can be viewed from wherever you are.

INCYT has engaged SierraTek as an installation and support partner for its IoT AgTech ecosystem.

With opportunities for closer integration and expansion of the sensor and controls offerings, this arrangement is only the beginning of the journey for the companies.

“This is a partnership that we look forward to growing and evolving to bring tremendous opportunities in AgTech to growers across the wider region,” Katie said.

“What has drawn us to SierraTek is their clear commitment to customer service and satisfaction. Customer support is at INCYT’s core, and we believe the level of service that INCYT and SierraTek can provide together will be a win for our customers.

“We prioritise understanding the unique challenges faced by farmers and work closely with them to provide tailored advice, support, and ongoing assistance well after installation.

“This commitment to customer success ensures that farmers gain maximum benefit from the solutions, enabling them to thrive in an increasingly competitive industry.”

People are invited to join SierraTek and INCYT on Tuesday, July 25, 11:30am at the SierraTek yard, 10 Wee Waa Road, Narrabri, for an opportunity to look and see first-hand.

A barbecue lunch will be available and SierraTek and INCYT will answer any questions you have.

At the event, INCYT will run a one hour presentation that walks through the evolution of AgTech, why now is a turning point for IoT in Ag, the value it provides, and where the tech is heading in the future.

The presentation is held inside of INCYT’s 12m Discovery Centre, which features a product showcase, reporting dashboards, and more.

It is also worth noting that the INCYT products are eligible for the Farms of the Future Grant scheme that is currently underway.

Contact Jamie now on 0427 991 484 or [email protected] to let him know you are interested in a joining the INCYT and SierraTek teams for a barbecue lunch and AgTech discussions.
