Winners of The Courier’s 2023 NRL preliminary tipster competition are counting down the days before a grand final experience of a lifetime.

Turner Signs and Embroidery emerged as the winner of the 2023 Business House Challenge following the final submission of tips.

With only two to three different tips separating the top businesses in the final week, it was clear Turner Signs had clinched the 2023 title and ended the season with 287 points.

Blooms on Maitland finished in second place on 281 points and Narrabri Pharmacy and Allpets Veterinary Clinic were third and fourth, respectively, on 277 points.

Angus Turner will be representing Turner Signs and Embroidery at the grand final.

Turner Signs last won the competition back in 2019.

The winner of the NRL Readers’ Competition, Danny Laws, is also eager to head to the Sydney grand final.

Danny also emerged as the winner prior to the final round and finished on 293 points.

Christine McCauley was second on 281 points and Paul McCauley third on 279 points.

The Courier has purchased the prizes of return airfares and grand final tickets.

Sponsor Radisson Blu has provided the accommodation at its five star luxury Sydney Plaza hotel in the city’s centre.

The Courier has again expressed its thanks to Radisson Blu for its ongoing support of the competition.

“A stay at the luxury hotel in the Sydney CBD is the icing on the cake for our NRL grand final experience,” The Courier’s general manager Dylan Smith said.

“Our thanks also to the supporting businesses that make the competition possible.

“We encourage our Courier readers to support these wonderful businesses that support this annual promotion.”
