Spring is the time when flowers bloom and the first week of school holidays children and adults were able to make paper flowers during the Narrabri Shire libraries school holiday activity program.

Boggabri Library held its school holiday activity on Tuesday, September 26 and Narrabri library’s was Wednesday, September 27.

Wee Waa held its school holiday activity on Tuesday, October 3 at the Wee Waa Library.

Fun was had by all participants at Boggabri and Narrabri with both children and their adults making an array of bright spring flowers to take home.

The school holiday activities are held each holiday with a different activity provided by the Narrabri Shire libraries.

Library programs officer, Ann Bowen said: “we have a variety of activities that we provide and the next holidays we will have more activities for the children to enjoy.”

Eight children attended in Boggabri with flowers made from craft paper, egg cartons and tissue paper.

Some children took advantage of having a look at what books they would like to take home.

Home library service once a month is available in Bellata, Boggabri, Gwabegar, Narrabri, Pilliga and Wee Waa.
