After many postponements throughout the past few years due to drought and COVID, Narrabri Public School was delighted to hold its school fete once again on Friday October 20.
The evening was enjoyed by the many families and friends who attended the event and it would not have been possible without the incredible staff, the hardworking P&C committee, and the students and parent helpers who ran stalls and activities.
We would like to also thank the wonderful people and businesses who donated towards the monster raffle, and thank you too, if you brought a ticket in the draw.
The Rotary Club of Narrabri ran a fabulous barbecue which kept everyone well fed throughout the evening.
An especially big thank you is due to our community for coming along and supporting the event.
The fun-filled evening included yabby races with the support of the Narrabri Fishing Club, an obstacle course, carnival games, a glow scare house, face painting and hair spray, balloons, show bags, market stalls, pre-loved goods, a plant stall and a ‘Gardening Gurus’ stall selling school-made goods, karaoke and choir performances, active games to win a prize, and a bottle stall.
The P&C committee would like to acknowledge the generosity of the community, the local sponsors, individuals and companies who donated to our fete – the Rotary Club of Narrabri for donating their time to cook, the families who donated bottles, cakes and pre-loved goods, and the staff, students and families who donated their time to make this fete a success.
