Steeped in tradition

The tradition of the Lodge Namoi Debutante Ball has continued in its 49th year, with the gala occasion held last Saturday night.

Nine debutantes were presented to Right Worshipful Brother Bob Taylor who also officially opened this year’s festivities.

The night was again a major success, with debutantes, their partners and families enjoying the popular traditional ball, again held at the Narrabri RSL.

Representing the Master of Lodge Namoi, Right Worshipful Brother Len Hall thanked Kim Owens for her efforts in facilitating the dance component of Saturday night’s
ball.

Mr Hall also praised Michelle Wheeler for planning this year’s celebration and Brother Dan Gillmore for serving as master-of-ceremonies.

Debutantes and their partners were Krista Zarka and Aaron Strickland, Jackie Collett and Bradley Hilderson, Milli McCauley and Cohen Tout, Nisha Gibbs and Lachlon Finnigan, Lillian McMillan and Charlie Byrne, Chloe Mason and Ethan Hall, Emily Emmerson and Caleb Dawson, Maeve Harris and William Faris, and Clare Jensen and Lachie Eather.
