The Tamworth Family Support Service delivered games galore to children across the Narrabri Shire.

Young people in Narrabri, Wee Waa, Gwabegar, Pilliga and Boggabri soaked up the fun at water games events organised for the school holidays.

As well as splashing about with water activities, the enthusiastic attendees also played badminton and volleyball.

Shannon Thorsby, a TFSS Reconnect worker, said the games were a great way to engage young people in a relaxed environment.

More broadly, Reconnect also works to provide early intervention and prevention programs aimed at supporting young people aged 12 to 18 years.

Offering everything from exciting group holiday activities to more tailored initiatives such as talking with young people about issues affecting their wellbeing, support in accessing specialist services such as counselling and assistance with school, education and career choices.
