NarraBRIGHT will return for a fourth year, again set to illuminate the Narrabri central business district.
Narrabri Shire Council announced the NarraBRIGHT street festival will be held on Friday, March 15, from 6pm.
NarraBRIGHT has continued to grow since it was started in 2021 and is a highly anticipated event.
The festival draws diverse audiences to revel in the festivities that showcase the Narrabri town centre.
This free community event is a key feature of council’s annual CREATE Festival, held in March.
In a statement, council said the festival reinforces its commitment to highlighting the community, CBD and businesses.
Following the success of last year’s event, NarraBRIGHT is set to feature breathtaking light projections by the renowned Australian projection company, Illuminart.
The evening promises surprises that will captivate and mesmerise audiences, making it an occasion not to be missed.
NarraBRIGHT boasts a diverse lineup of attractions, including Illuminart’s building projections, late-night shopping, street food, and outdoor dining.
Attendees can enjoy a neon sensory garden, live music from DJs and local performers.
A kids’ chalk art workshop will also feature as part of the festival.
The entertainment extends to performers like LED Hula Hoopers and Kamikaze Dragons.
Dedicated kids’ activity zones, including Solasta kids’ zone and NDCAS youth zone, ensure a family-friendly environment with a variety of engaging activities.
Deputy mayor Brett Dickinson expressed his excitement about the return of NarraBRIGHT.
“NarraBRIGHT is an event not to be missed. It’s become a highlight of the CREATE Festival, drawing large participants and showcasing the best of our shire,” Cr Dickinson said.
“I encourage our residents to come into Narrabri, watch these artists bring the street to life and engage with all things NarraBRIGHT.
“It will be a wonderful night for people of all ages and abilities, and I look forward to welcoming everyone to the event.”
