At about 6:30pm on Monday, March 11, the Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked by NSW Ambulance to Boggabri, to a man in his 40s suffering serious burns.

The man was treated by paramedics and the helicopter’s critical care medical team before being airlifted to Royal North Shore Hospital.
