Local schools are set to be a beneficiary of a team building exercise by one the region’s leading employers, Cotton Seed Distributors.

CSD recently conducted a unique team building exercise during their annual planning conference, underscoring their commitment to both teamwork and community engagement.

Employees came together to build barbecues, which will be donated to local schools as part of their ongoing efforts to support local communities.

James Quinn, CSD’s general manager of growth and development, expressed enthusiasm about the activity.

“At CSD we believe in the power of teamwork not only within our organisation but also in the communities where we operate,” he said.

“This team building exercise was an excellent opportunity for our employees to collaborate while also giving back to local schools.”

The initiative reflects CSD’s dedication to fostering meaningful connections within their team and extending their support beyond the workplace.

The barbecues are set to be delivered to 16 schools.

The local schools involved in this program include Wee Waa High School, Wee Waa Public School, St Joseph’s Primary School, Namoi Valley Christian School, Narrabri High School, Narrabri West Public School, Narrabri Public School, St Francis Xavier’s Primary School, Pilliga Public School, Burren Junction Primary School, Rowena Public School, Boggabri Public School, Sacred Heart Primary School, Bellata Public School, Fairfax Public School and Gwabegar Public School.
