Narrabri Riding for Disabled held a training day for volunteers in April.

The aim of the day was to introduce new volunteers to the procedures used when our participants start for the season.

RDA provides equine interactions for people of all ages with disabilities.

These interactions enable participants to take part in physical, cognitive and social activities centered around the horse in a safe, caring and inclusive environment.

RDA can only operate because of the wonderful volunteers who give up their time.

Anyone can volunteer to be involved.

Although experience with horses is beneficial it isn’t necessary as there are roles that do not involve the need to be near the horses.

If you think you would like to be involved, RDA is operating at Narrabri showground on the following dates, as previously advertised in The Courier: May 20, June 17, July 1 and 29, August 12 and 26, and September 9 and 23.
