Biggest Morning Tea and Grandparents Day at Boggabri Public School

Boggabri Public School combined their Grandparents Day, Book Fair and their Biggest Morning Tea fundraiser for cancer on Thursday, May 16.

A large crowd attended the morning tea fundraiser which raised more than $1400.

The Parents and Citizens Association thanked the parents and volunteers for their donations of delicious food, their kind donations and support of the Cancer Council.

Parents, grandparents, friends and community members took the opportunity to visit the school and see the children in their classrooms and join in some classroom activities.

The book fair did a roaring trade with parents and grandparents buying books for the children. The sales from the book fair totalled $2865.

Principal Benjamin Carter was pleased with the attendance and support from the Boggabri community.
