Wee Waa Show Society is thrilled to announce it has a new treasurer: Kristy Lee Bonney.
Beth Drysdale has served the show society magnificently as treasurer for several years, and on top of that has contributed greatly as a Wee Waa Show Society member for 46 years.
“It’s wonderful news, we’re ecstatic,” said the show’s publicity officer Francis Drysdale.
“She is somebody young and she’ll hopefully bring more people her age into the show.
“We always like to see more people involved, especially more young people; Ethan Towns stepped up to the role of secretary last year – which is good.
“It’s great to have all the young people we have involved and our president Gary Hibbens staying on for another year.”
“We had a good meeting recently and preparations are underway for August.”
