“Following a meeting with the Member for Barwon Roy Butler, I have agreed urgent consultation with clinicians, staff and community will take place this week to discuss the provision of pathology services at Narrabri.
“No decisions have been made about the future pathology service model.
“Consultation will help provide a more detailed understanding of the local clinical needs, and will ultimately help inform the design of a more sustainable service model for the local community.
“I thank the Member for his strong advocacy on this matter on behalf his community.”
