Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea is an annual fundraiser for the Cancer Council and each year community groups, business houses and local organisations across the nation host morning tea to contribute to funding cancer research and awareness.
So far this year Biggest Morning Teas have raised more than $8 million and by the end of the month the figure will be much higher.
Narrabri shire groups are regular supporters of the appeal.
This year Summit Community Services, a long-established provider of support and advice to a range of people, drew a big attendance from clients, staff and the community and to its Biggest Morning Tea.
Donations from people enjoying the event all go to the Cancer Council.
