Barden Pumps celebrates 30th anniversary

Customers joined staff and family members at Barden Pump Services in Barwan Street on Thursday, June 13, to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the business.

Suppliers representing the major brands across the range of irrigation, home and business water needs, land and garden maintenance, pool and plumbing products were on hand to meet customers.

Barden Pump Services was launched by John Barden in March 1994 in a small shed in Narrabri and now extends with a large product range, technical service and advice to town and country customers across the North West and New England.

The past 30 years has been a story of successful growth as Barden’s provided water solutions, sales and service of pumps for all applications in farm, business and residential, expanding into land management equipment including agricultural and industrial chainsaws, brushcutters, ride-on commercial mowers and forestry equipment as well as push mowers, edgers, earth augers, and garden tractors.

Demand for John Barden’s knowledge of all things pumps and irrigation saw expansion of staff and product range and a much-sought-after 24/7 call out service for pumps across the region, and relocation to the current, purpose-built facility with workshops and sales areas at 156 Barwan Street, Narrabri.
