On Friday, July 5, Narrabri High School held a celebration for the Year 8 students who have completed their 10-week NuLit literacy cycle.

NuLit is part of the small group tuition program run at Narrabri High School aimed at supporting students with their literacy and/or numeracy skills.

Students in the program are placed into small groups (two to four students) and withdrawn from class for thirty minute sessions, three
times a week.

These short, focused, sessions run for a 10-week cycle and the Year 8 literacy groups have been focused on comprehension and vocabulary.

At the celebration, students were recognised for their efforts and application with a certificate of achievement followed by a morning tea.

Whilst we weren’t able to celebrate with all of the students in the Year 8 group, it was wonderful to be able to show our appreciation for their success.
