Narrabri residents Matthew Nott and Gabrielle White celebrated the occasion of their wedding on January 18, 2024.
Eighty guests attended the couple’s special day which was held in the stunning location of the 1876 heritage-listed Gabbinbar Homestead in Toowoomba.
Matthew is the son of Wayne and Kim Nott, and Gabrielle is the daughter of Peter and Wendy White, both families from Narrabri.
The bride was attended by maid of honour Georgina White, and bridesmaids Amy Baker and Brooke Woodhill.
Attending the groom were best man Nathan Nott and groomsmen Tom Woodhill and Greg Pearce.
Completing the wedding party were flower girl Hallie Nott and ringbearer Archie Nott.
Gabrielle wore a classic ivory dress with a deep lunging neckline and a figure-hugging skirt, featuring beaded 3-D lace and an intricate Chantilly lace underlay.
The maid of honour and bridesmaids wore cream keyhole backed high-necked maxi dresses with ruched bodices, made with a Lenzing Ecovero fabric in a satin finish.
Lenzing Ecovero is a sustainable and eco-friendly viscose rayon fabric that is derived from renewable wood sources where chemicals and solvents are recycled and reused, reducing water consumption and minimising the release of harmful substances to the environment.
Bouquets carried by the bride and her attendants featured café au lait dahlias and garden roses in a mix of vibrant pink, salmon and orange.
The best man and groomsmen wore classic black tuxedos, with their matching jackets and trousers complemented with white button-ups and bow ties.
Speeches were made by father and mother of the bride Peter and Wendy White, father and mother of the groom Wayne and Kim Nott, best man Nathan Nott, and maid of honour Georgina White.
A single tiered wedding cake was adorned with raspberry buttercream icing and an assortment of pink roses.
A second tier was made up of a selection of delicious iced and cinnamon doughnuts.
The happy couple have been friends for many years, first meeting at St Francis Xavier’s Primary School in kindergarten and year one respectively.
Matthew and Gabrielle spent their honeymoon in The Maldives and have made their home in Narrabri.
