Festive attire was the popular choice in fashion as Yarrie Lake Public Hall Land Management held a Christmas in July celebration and trivia night on Saturday.
The hall was festively decorated as trivia buffs put their skills to the test. Almost 60 people took part in the quiz night.
Prizes were on offer for the quiz night as well as best Christmas jumper.
Attendees had the opportunity to buy presents under a Christmas tree.
One of the night’s organisers, and member of the hall land management committee, Anne Cain said almost 40 local businesses donated presents for the night.
“Thank you to the sponsors, and the community, for a wonderful commitment to helping our local community groups,” she said.
Proceeds from the night will be put towards continued maintenance and improvements of the Yarrie Lake Public Hall.
The hall has been back in commission for almost five years, with part of that time including the COVID pandemic as well as a period of refurbishment.
The committee is eager to see the Yarrie Lake Public Hall again well used by the community. The hall is available for private functions.
