The Tamworth-based school offers a range of scholarships and bursaries, as well as payment options to try and accommodate the varying needs of rural families.

Calrossy offers a diverse range of scholarships to students which provide financial assistance towards tuition and/or boarding fees.

These opportunities extend to students from academic, to those excelling in cultural areas including music, drama, dance and visual arts.

In addition there are also Allrounder, Foundation and Indigenous Scholarships for students who have made achievements in other areas such as leadership, community service and public speaking.

These are awarded to students who the school believes will make a valuable and positive contribution to the Calrossy community.

“Calrossy remains committed to helping change the shape of regional education and supporting rural students access a quality education and opportunities, empowering them to make a difference in the world,” says Calrossy Principal, Mr David Smith.

Calrossy also has targeted assistance for boarding families through a series of awards which are means tested.

The School has a long history of assisting regional families, with Calrossy’s first bursary dating back almost 100 years and the formation of the Calrossy Foundation in the School’s centenary year.

That support has left a lasting legacy with the family continuing to attend Calrossy through six generations.
