For almost 200 years, The King’s School has been committed to equipping young men of character with a well-rounded education so they could go on to make a positive impact for the good of society. It is through this commitment that Kingsmen become Global Thought Leaders.

At King’s, each student has the opportunity to grow their mind, body and soul in a diverse and unique learning environment that not only strives for academic excellence but is focused on the character development of every student within the context of a Christian community.

“It is this unique recipe that makes The King’s School a place where young men develop into well-rounded people who are prepared to take their place in society,” says Mr Tony George, Headmaster of The King’s School.

The learning landscape of 320 acres in the heart of Australia’s global city provides students with the challenge and adventure needed to shape their unique character. Every student is encouraged to develop a healthy risk appetite and be actively engaged within the School community.

“Inside of the classroom, success for each student at King’s is to feel a sense of rigour, motivation, achievement and enjoyment from what they are learning, and we do this by acknowledging their learning needs, strengths, interests and goals. Outside of the classroom, students are encouraged to participate in the co-curricular activities on offer, facing the inherent challenges that aim to inspire and develop them during their learning adventure and build a sense of belonging and community pride,” says Mr George.

The King’s School is fortunate to be able to offer a range of Scholarships and Bursaries for entry in Years 7 to 11. “Many of these awards have been established due to the generosity of Old Boys, parents, friends, associated organisations, and bequests. We warmly invite students who are looking for a learning adventure that is risk-taking and all-encompassing to
apply for a scholarship or bursary with the School,” says Mr George.
