The future looks bright for this young band emerging on the Australian music scene.
Known for their electrifying performances and catchy sound, Nuffin Butta have garnered critical acclaim from music enthusiasts and industry professionals alike.
With their unique blend of genres, they have managed to differentiate themselves from the countless other aspiring artists, creating a distinct identity that resonates with a growing fan base.
Their dedication and hard work, coupled with a passion for their craft, have enabled them to secure high-profile gigs and collaborate with an established recording studio within a relatively short period.
Many of us will likely remember indie rock band Nuffin Butta in its early days, starting up in Narrabri by born and bred locals Harry Goddard, Jaice Hill, Jordyn Mowle, Connor Duncan and Jack Campbell in March 2021.
The band enjoyed infamous nights jamming and practicing at home in the lead-up to their launch and were consequently booked up at a few of the local watering holes in the district.
The decision for the band to uproot and relocate to the Sunshine Coast, Queensland in November 2021 meant further opportunities and experience for the crew with most of the band making the move in early 2022.
Keys player Jack Campbell was unable to relocate due to work commitments and was duly replaced by keys player Oscar Mitchell, formerly from Moree.
The band kicked off its Queensland coastline launch with a newly rejuvenated approach.
With the addition of bass player Matt Goodenough, when former bass player Connor Duncan departed for Canada in November 2023, nearly three years has passed since the big move took place.
Nuffin Butta has enjoyed a following of fans, performing countless shows along the Queensland coast.
The band has this year recorded their debut single ‘In Our Dream’ at Yama-Nui Studios with ARIA winning producer and musician Paulie Bromley. Bromley has worked with the likes of Delta Goodrem, Bliss n Eso and Ziggy Alberts to name just a few.
Currently on the road for their ‘On the Run’ tour, Nuffin Butta are promoting their new track with twelve shows booked up and down the east coast of Queensland and NSW.
The opportunity to make a detour home to Narrabri for the October long weekend and catch up with friends and family could not be missed, and the band will be playing in Narrabri on Saturday at the Tourist Hotel and Tamworth on Sunday at The Tamworth.
Next on the agenda is to get back into the studio during breaks along the rest of the tour, getting ready to release more hotly anticipated singles into the awaiting Australian music scene.
