Work starts on splash pads in towns

Work has started on splash pads being installed at Pirate Park, Narrabri, Ludowici Park, Wee Waa, and Vickery Park, Boggabri.

In an update last week, council advised form work was well underway. Once this stage is complete, the areas will be fenced off for safety, with the three parks still remaining open.

“Pending weather and contractors, we anticipate the splash pads will be ready for summer fun by mid-December,” council said in a statement.

“While the parks will remain open during construction, council may need to close them temporarily and will provide notice to residents.”
