Narrabri Police Station has recently welcomed two new officers to the local area command.
Constable Macauley Jones has transferred from Moree and Constable James Outlaw has moved from Lake Macquarie after completing his time at the academy last year.
Chief Inspector Robert Dunn is always overjoyed when there are new officers to join the force.
“It seems that they have both settled into Narrabri well and have definitely joined the force seamlessly,” Chief Insp Dunn said.
Constable Jones explained his passion for country towns, coming from Moree and being around the land his whole life.
“Narrabri is a lovely town and only coming from Moree, I can not get enough of country living,” Cons Jones said.
“The force has been very welcoming, so it has been an easy transfer.”
Pro Cons Outlaw has settled in as well and is excited to live in the country even after being around coastlines and refreshing temperatures.
“It’s been a very positive experience so far here in Narrabri and I’m excited to be a part of such a wonderful community,” Pro Cons Outlaw said.
“It’s been great having Jones and Outlaw join the force, they’ve fit right in,” Chief Insp Dunn said.
“As I always say, Narrabri is such a beautiful little town, and I am sure our new Constables will enjoy their time here.”
