Even without horses on the track, the Narrabri Jockey Club proved that the show can still go on, hosting a Phantom Race Day on Saturday, March 22 that drew a strong crowd of over a thousand.
Much-loved elements of the races, including fashions in the field, continued as planned a proved a hit with the crowd.
While there were no races to cheer on at the Narrabri track itself, patrons were able to view live racing on the big screen, including the highly anticipated Golden Slipper.
