After a rainstorm the evening before, the Boggabri Show and Shine went ahead in beautiful autumn weather.

With 66 registered vehicles, numbers were a little down on 2024 numbers.

The colouring-in competition was very successful and the market stalls reported good support and the food stalls did a roaring trade from the foot traffic with many people making a day of it and staying on for the football trial games.

Four-year-old Carson Carter won the 0-5 years, seven-year-old Annie Stone, 6-10, and eleven-year-old Matilda Rowland won the 11 years plus age group for the colouring-in competition.

All winners in the vehicle display were decided by people’s choice. Furthest travelled, Terry Romer who travelled from Inverell. Truck winner was the Boggabri NSW Fire Brigade. Hotrod winner, Kevin Louis from Gunnedah 1934 Chev Roadster Pick-up. Street car winner, Stuart Maclennan from Gunnedah, 1962 Cadillac Crepe De Ville. Motorbike winner, Warren Shepard from Gunnedah, 2007 Harley Davidson Fatboy. Best in show winner, Bones Falkiner from Narrabri, 1928 Morris Minor.
