Boggabri and many towns from Brisbane to Uralla may have had the opportunity to see this massive transformer slowly moving along the highway.
The rig, as it came through Boggabri on Saturday morning, consisted of two engines at the front pulling and one pushing from the rear.
When parked, it took up a complete length of the block between Merton Street and Wee Waa Street.
After they departed Tamworth on Sunday morning, another two engines were attached to help push the transformer up the Moonbi hills.
The transformer is 400 tons and there will be a bigger one coming through in approximately a month that will weigh 550 tons.
The transformers are destined for the Uralla Solar Farm.
