Born in 1926 in Narrabri, Myra Smith has lived through the Great Depression, World War ll, and the digital age.

After celebrating her 99th birthday at Whiddon Robert Young on Thursday, April 17, Myra attended the Lord’s Supper Mass that evening where Father Paul presented her with a bouquet of beautiful flowers.

A gathering of family and friends including her daughter Sue Eurell from Brisbane, again celebrated with the cutting of an Easter-themed birthday cake made by daughter-in-law Janice Smith.

Finishing off the week’s celebrations, Myra attended Easter Mass on Saturday evening, marking a long life of faith and love.
