Monday May 12 is International Nurses Day and on behalf of the members of the Boggabri branch of the NSW United Hospital Auxiliary Adele O’Connell and Noreen Boehm presented the nurses with a gift to celebrate International Nurses Day and acknowledge their professional skills and the contributions they bring to the Boggabri Health Service.
Boggabri is fortunate is have 23 nurses who are the heart of the healthcare system and the association realises that ‘not all angels have wings, some have scrubs.’
International Nurses Day is celebrated around the world on May 12, the anniversary of Florence Nightingale’s birth.
