The Narrabri VRA has marked 50 years since its inception with a celebratory dinner at the RSL.

One of the service’s founding members, Harvey Black, who is still heavily involved with the VRA, was pleased with the celebratory evening.

“It was a great night to catch up with current and former volunteers, as well as those who have left town and came back for the dinner,” Mr Black said.

“We had a table set up with lots of old photographs and clippings on display for everyone to look through.”

“Some of the members were presented with certificates for 45 years of service.”
