THE AGENT SAYS: A special clearing sale will be held on behalf of Dave and Loretta Meppem at 10.30am on Friday, July 4 at ‘Merinda’ Narrabri.
Following 35 years of cotton growing, Dave and Loretta have decided to retire and are offering their complete inventory of machinery and equipment for genuine sale.
Dave and Loretta have enjoyed a long and successful association with the owners of ‘Merinda’, the Leitch family and are looking forward to the next stage of their lives.
This is a quality line up of farm equipment, with the sale including John Deere tractors, tillage, rowcrop, harvesting and grain equipment, irrigation supplies, fuel storage tanks, pipes, workshop and sundries.
Nutrien Harcourts agent James Thomas said all the gear is now ready for the sale and is displayed in order ready for the big day.
Although the clearing sale will be held on site, major items will also be interfaced on AuctionsPlus.
The first open for inspection day will be held this Friday, June 13, from 10am to 3pm, with another open day on Friday, June 27.
Narrabri Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service will be kindly providing the catering on the day of the sale.
