Namoi United endured a tough afternoon against Demon Knights on Saturday at Hogan Oval, with both grades unable to secure the points.
In first grade, Namoi United fought hard after conceding in the first half to a deflection goal and a dot‑shot, but couldn’t find a way back, going down 2–0. The side said it was left frustrated after a moment in the first half, when the visitors could have been reduced to ten men.
Defensive lapses proved costly for the reserve grade side, with a well‑drilled Demon Knights team capitalising on their chances to claim a 4–2 win.
