THE countdown to AgQuip 2026 is officially on, with organisers encouraging visitors to secure their tickets online early and save 30 per cent while getting a head start on planning their visit.
Across three action-packed days, AgQuip will once again bring together Australia’s agricultural community for the latest in machinery, technology, demonstrations, innovation and industry connections. From exciting new exhibitors and product launches to returning favourites and enhanced visitor experiences, there will be plenty to discover across the grounds.
This year, AgQuip will be held from August 18-20.
Recent rainfall has also delivered a welcome boost to the site after months of dry weather, leaving the grounds in excellent condition ahead of the event.
After months of dry weather the AgQuip site has been under a couple of recent showers and the grounds are looking fantastic.
This is great news for the ACM Agri-organised event but even better news for the farming community and suppliers throughout the North West and New England regions as they head into a busy time of year.
What’s new in 2026
Returning by popular demand are the Working Dog Demonstrations, with six kelpies bred and trained by Peterson Kelpies’ Peter Hogan showcasing their impressive skills several times each day at site Y-Z | 30 beside the Local to the Plains precinct.
The AgSmart Connect area has also expanded for 2026, relocating to a larger permanent structure at sites A-B 26/27 to accommodate growing demand from AgTech exhibitors.
Visitors can also expect an exciting range of products making their AgQuip debut, including new tractors, livestock handling equipment, animal nutrition solutions and lifestyle products. More information on new product launches will be available through AgQuip’s social media channels and the official event guide.
Local to the Plains showcases regional talent
The popular Local to the Plains precinct returns in 2026, once again proudly supported by Gunnedah Shire Council as a gold sponsor. The dedicated area celebrates local makers, artisans, businesses and community groups from across the surrounding region, giving visitors an opportunity to experience the best of local enterprise alongside the agricultural showcase.
“The Local to the Plains precinct is a project that organisers have been working closely with Gunnedah Shire Council on to feature homegrown, home based, local businesses, creators and community groups from the Gunnedah region,” ACM Agri Events general manager Craig Chapman said. “It’s a chance to give visitors a true taste of the region”
GWM Australia named headline sponsor
Earlier this year, AgQuip also announced GWM Australia as its headline sponsor for 2026.
Known for its advanced technology and value-focused vehicle range, GWM will showcase its Tank Plug-in Hybrid and Cannon ranges, both featuring Hybrid Intelligent 4WD technology designed to meet the demands of rural Australia.
“We’re excited to partner with AgQuip this year, providing vehicles to support the event and showcasing our latest range on site. AgQuip brings together Australia’s agricultural community, and this partnership allows us to demonstrate firsthand the capability, durability, and advanced technology that make GWM vehicles ideally suited to both work and everyday driving.”
The AgQuip team will utilise GWM vehicles during event preparations and throughout the three-day event, with the vehicles also on display at sites K/L-21.
Making the most of your visit
The AgQuip App returns for 2026, helping visitors navigate the event with ease. The app allows users to plan personalised schedules, locate exhibitors and demonstrations, save brochures, photos and videos, communicate directly with exhibitors before, during and after the event, and quickly find amenities including food outlets and toilets.
An updated version of the app will launch ahead of the event, with further details to be announced via AgQuip’s social media channels.
Australian Performance Boxes returns as silver sponsor
Australian Performance Boxes (APB) will once again support AgQuip as a silver sponsor, bringing an even larger display of products to this year’s event.
“AgQuip has long been a key date on the calendar for us at APB, and we’re looking forward to being back again in 2026! This year, we’ll be bringing an even bigger range of toolboxes, canopies, dog boxes, and accessories, with plenty of stock available onsite and ready to go. You’ll also have the option to pre-order ahead of the event, so you can secure your gear early and simply collect it on the day. We look forward to seeing you all again this year!”
Listening to the agricultural community
Visitor feedback continues to play a key role in shaping AgQuip each year.
One of the standout findings from the 2025 post-event survey was that 78 per cent of attendees were directly involved in agriculture, whether as farmers, farm managers, farm employees or suppliers to the industry.
For organisers, this reinforces AgQuip’s purpose of remaining an event built for farmers and the broader agricultural community.
Feedback also identified opportunities to further improve the visitor experience, including additional seating, more food options and enhanced signage and site maps. Following positive responses to upgraded toilet facilities in 2025, further improvements will continue in 2026.
With new attractions, expanded exhibitor experiences and a renewed focus on visitor comfort, AgQuip 2026 is shaping up to be another must-attend event for Australia’s agricultural industry.
