Wee Waa High School’s (WWHS) year 11 hospitality class recently took over the Department of Education’s Tiny Mobile Cafe at AgQuip.

The Tiny Mobile Cafe is a fantastic initiative supporting Vocational Education and Training in schools.

The team prepared a whopping 320 lunch packs for school students to enjoy while exploring AgQuip, showcasing their organisation, teamwork and hospitality skills.

They also had the chance to jump behind the coffee machine and put their barista skills into practice, serving up plenty of great coffee along the way.

The day prior, food technology and hospitality students from across several classes joined in to help the team with food preparation and organising.

The WWHS crew was supported by hospitality teacher Sarita Mallinson and student learning support officer Connie Smith.

The team had Little Harvest Cafe shirts created for them by local business Vibrant Vinyl Creations.

Wee Waa Hot Bread loaned some extra kitchen equipment to assist with food prep, and Wee Waa Rotaract loaned their cool room to transport the food safely.
