The Lions Club of Narrabri’s annual Charity Golf Day has once again proved a great success, with golfers turning out in strong numbers for a four-person Ambrose competition while helping raise funds for the community.

The day produced some excellent golf, with Lach Woolford, Karl Hatfield, Shannon Rily and Les Bonney combining for an impressive winning score of 51.125.
Sharon Dewsbury, Roz Duff, Peter Dewsbury and Michael Wilson.
The runners-up were Jye Manton, Ben Finnigan, Andy McManus and Keith Greenaway, who finished on 53.25, while Tash and Troy Nott, Mark and Fiona Campbell claimed third place with 55.125.

There was plenty of individual talent on display throughout the day, with the nearest-the-pin prizes going to Andy McManus, Karl Hatfield, Les Bonney and Cameron Lennox in the men’s competition, while Maree Taylor and Haylie Reynolds claimed the ladies’ nearest-the-pin prizes.
