Wee Waa High School’s years 9 and 10 students recently headed north to Queensland for a week of adventure and excitement.
The excursion kicked off with an evening at Topgolf Gold Coast, before the group spent Tuesday at Warner Bros. Movie World, followed by an evening at the Australian Outback Spectacular, an entertaining showcase of Australian culture, horsemanship and storytelling.
The group also ventured to Tamborine Mountain to explore the treetops at Tamborine Rainforest Skywalk before heading to Bounce Indoor Trampoline Park for an afternoon of high-energy fun.
For their final day, the students travelled to Brisbane, taking in the sights along the Brisbane River at South Bank Parklands before exploring the Queensland Museum Kurilpa and GOMA.
The week came to a thrilling conclusion at Suncorp Stadium, where the group experienced the excitement of live NRL action as the Brisbane Broncos took on the Melbourne Storm.
From exciting theme park attractions and rainforest adventures to cultural experiences and live sport, the Stage 5 Queensland excursion was a week to remember, filled with new experiences and memories that will last a lifetime.
