Narrabri Football Club’s 2026 Namoi Soccer League season came to an end at the weekend after a narrow 3–2 loss to Moree Services FC Next Gen in Moree.
The match was the league’s minor semi-final, with the losing side eliminated.
Narrabri FC fought hard throughout the contest, with Blake Stride and Leondre Smith finding the back of the net for the visitors, but Moree Next Gen held on to secure the one-goal win.

Despite the result, Narrabri had several strong performers on the day.
The Domino’s Narrabri awards went to Baxter Gabbott, Leondre Smith, Jakson Dowdell, Zak Putra and Blake Stride, while Stride was also named players’ player.
The match marked Narrabri FC’s final game of the 2026 season.
The club thanked its sponsors, players, referees, coaches, committee members and supporters for their contribution throughout the year, saying their efforts had helped make the season possible.
