R U OK? Day is an Australian mental health awareness day that encourages people to check in with friends, family, colleagues and community members by asking, “Are you OK?”. The day is led by R U OK?, a national suicide prevention charity focused on giving people the confidence to have supportive conversations with someone who may be struggling.

The WWHS Student Representative Council also embraced the spirit of the day, preparing a selection of yellow-themed treats for the school’s Little Harvest Cafe to sell at lunchtime.
