Outstanding dedication to Boggabri & District Rugby League Football Club was celebrated recently at the annual presentation.
The Kangaroos marked the end of the 2026 season at Club Gunnedah.
Roos officials, players, families and friends gathered for lawn bowls, great food and family fun to pay tribute to achievements during the year.
Four life members were announced on the evening, with top honours going to Julie Gillham, Jason Kemp, Matt Gillham and Shane Rampling.
Special tokens of thanks were also presented to dedicated Roos including Mel Hartog, Vicki Vulaserau, Maria Eggleton, Sue Haire, Julie Gillham and Paula Neader.
The sportsmanship award this year was presented to Nicholas Herring and Stino Penisoni.
Herring was also the recipient of the training award, along with Lachlan Chandler.
Milestones were also celebrated at the gathering, with Penisoni along with Will Devine and Clayton Bruce recognised for 50 games.
Ben Haire was also congratulated for 100 games and was presented with a commemorative jacket.
Reserve grade trophy winners this year were: Joel Neader (most improved), Braedon Mason (highest point scorer), Will Devine (coach’s award), Jarod Adams (best back), Malik Dennis (players’ player), Andrew Cameron (best forward) and Anthony Robinson (best and fairest).
First grade players recognised at the presentation celebration were Lachlan Chandler (most improved), Chris Clark (best back), Aaron Hobden (best forward), Kyle Capper (coach’s award) and Jeffrey Harvey and Matthew Avendano (joint best and fairest recipients).
