BOWLS
Wet weather forced the cancellation of scheduled games at Narrabri Bowling Club last Thursday and Saturday, with players now looking ahead to a trophy day and state qualifying matches.
Thursday, 29 October, will now be a trophy day, while the men’s singles final is expected to be played during the week.
Attention will also turn to the State Mixed Pairs qualifying games at Manilla next Saturday, with several Narrabri players set to compete.
Representing Narrabri will be Cindy Neil and Tony Redman, Eva Sadler and Dave Dewar, Lorraine Scott and Kevin Baguley, while Lisa Pillar will partner Caleb Cameron from Gunnedah.
Rebecca Taylor will team up with Kyne Allen from Wee Waa for the qualifying matches.
Narrabri Bowling Club said it wishes all players the best of luck as they compete for a place in the next stage of the competition.
