With rural household water supplies at critical levels in some major country towns, now in the Guyra district a free portable laundry service has been launched at the Guyra Showground. Local Member Adam Marshall said farm and rural residential water supplies were at crisis point and many rural families now lacked sufficient clean water for their very basic laundry needs.
