UK voters have voted to leave Europe yet again, in what looks like a resounding Tory win.
The trouble with trans national powers like the EU and the UN is that they have been taken over by extreme leftists.
Gutterres, head of the UN is a Communist.
It is difficult not to see their mission as a massive transfer of wealth from democracies like ours, to third world countries with dubious regimes.
The main vehicle for this is climate change alarmism.
Most people like to have something to believe in.
Socialists are, by definition, Godless, but their new religion is climate change.
Anyone who does not follow the narrative is a denying heretic.
I think it worth noting that great human progress was made by “heretics” such as Copernicus, Galileo, Luther, Socrates and Campion.
Some of these people paid the ultimate price for their convictions. But they were right.
The left have largely taken over our bureaucracies, education systems, and the media.
It is little wonder academic standards are heading south, and just about every news item on the ABC starts from the premise that Australia alone can change the climate.
It’s a strange world where a teenage girl is deified by world leaders.
I am not optimistic. I think Western Civilisation is in decline, and we are fortunate to have lived through the best of it.
These days, facts do not matter.
It seems that the loathsome Post Modernism, taught at universities in courses with names such as ‘Ways of Knowing’ where we are told that the truth is whatever we want it to be, is the way of the future.
With the West drowning in such bunkum, we’ll be easy pickings for the expansionist, brutal regime to our north.
