Sightseeing at flood time can be dangerous, but a member of the audience at the Doctor’s Creek event on Saturday was aghast to see some children standing on the edge of the creek bank as floodwater raced by. “They were crumbling the edges in,” he said. “If the bank had collapsed I doubt anyone could have saved them.”
