Black Mountain Creek Road resident Cliff Wallace was worried about the condition of the road after earlier storms (The Courier January 30). The council responded and ‘put in a lot of effort and did a great job’ with the restoration, Cliff said. But the subsequent deluges have caused damage once again – pointing up the demands nature puts on our road system and on busy council staff maintaining the shire’s huge network which includes many kilometres of dirt roads.
