The 10 Narrabri Touch Inc matches scheduled to be contested at the Cooma Oval fields yesterday evening were all washed out.

Two of those were finals games, with the B-grade ladies’ competition finals series scheduled to commence.

All other games were last round matches for each respective comp.

In the B-grade ladies’ competition Xtra and Blue Birds were set to meet in the qualifying final while Phoenix Two390 and RSL Roulettes were scheduled to go head-to-head in an elimination final.

The winner of the qualifier would have played first-placed Hounddogs in next Monday’s qualifying final, while the loser would have played the winner of the elimination final in next week’s elimination semi-final.

The qualifying final and the elimination final have both been postponed to next Monday. They will be played at 5.30pm.

The qualifying semi-final and the elimination semi-final will then both be played at 6.35pm, meaning that three B-grade ladies’ teams will play two games each on Monday evening.

The finals series for the other four competitions will all begin next Monday.

In week one of the A-grade men’s and ladies’ and men’s B-grade and C-grade comps the top two ranked teams will play against one another in the qualifying semi-finals, and the bottom two ranked teams will meet in elimination semi-finals.

The winner of the qualifying semi-finals will advance straight through to the March 30 grand finals, but the losers of those games will play preliminary final matches against the elimination semi-final winners on Monday, March 23.

The winners of those preliminary finals will earn the second grade final spots.

See Thursday’s Courier for next Monday’s full schedule.
