Twenty five tipsters will contest the 2020 Courier NRL Tipping Competition.
More than 200 nominations were received for the 25 tipster spots and the successful contestants’ names were drawn last week.
The 2020 tipsters are: Ronnie Dewar, Bruce Bushby, Michael Knox, Ben Williams, Bill Chiplin, Wayne Booby, Paul McCauley, Ian Schweitzer, David Rooney, Brian Fogarty, Bill Prosser, Neil Panton, Mavis Edwards, Corey Robinson, Ron Alexander, Bob Small, Jenne Hobson, Paula Dean, Ken Booby, Gary Laurance, Kate O’Connor, Joy Geal, Norma Hill, Caryn Saunders and Margot Curtis.
The top tipster will win two premium seats at the NRL Grand Final at Sydney Cricket Ground on October 4, two return air tickets to Sydney provided by The Courier and two nights’ accommodation at the luxury five star Radisson Blu Hotel which sponsors the competition.
The ANZ Stadium will undergo an $810m redevelopment after round 15 and the grand final this year will be held at the SCG, the first grand final at the venue since 1987.
Meanwhile, The Business House Challenge will be contested by 21 local businesses. The successful business house will also win two return air tickets to Sydney, two nights’ accommodation at the Radisson Blu and premium seats at the big game.
