Narrabri will host a regional investment forum later this month, bringing together business, government and industry leaders to explore opportunities for economic growth across the New England North West.
The New England North West Future Invest Forum 2026 will be held on Thursday 22 October at The Crossing Theatre’s Riverside Room from 10.30am to 2pm.
Hosted by Business NSW New England North West, with Narrabri Shire Council as major partner, the event will focus on the theme “Innovation and Investment Shaping the New England North West”.
Business NSW New England North West regional director Stephanie Cameron said the forum would connect regional opportunities with investors and decision-makers.
“The New England North West is rich in ideas, capability and opportunity. This forum is about connecting that potential with the investors, markets and decision-makers who can help turn it into jobs, growth and lasting value for our communities,” Ms Cameron said.
“This is not another talkfest. It is a focused conversation about what comes next – where investment will come from, what infrastructure and workforce we need, and how regional innovation can become bankable, scalable opportunity.”

Tom Eather, of Bellevue Pastoral Company, pictured with his sister Julia, also features in the lineup of speakers.
The half-day program will feature keynote presentations, investment intelligence, a regional innovation showcase, a fireside conversation and a cross-sector panel involving business, government and industry leaders.
Speakers include Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development investment manager Karina Tyler, National Australia Bank small business banker for Greater North West NSW Brendon Grosse, SierraTek Global managing director Jamie Condon, and Tom Eather from Bellevue Pastoral Company.
Additional special guest speakers are also expected to feature.
Ms Cameron said the forum would highlight innovative businesses, evolving industries and emerging ideas across the region, with a focus on connecting them to the investment needed to grow. “Across our region, innovative businesses are solving big problems, established industries are evolving and bold new ideas are emerging,” she said. “The opportunity now is to make those stories visible and connect them with the people and capital that can accelerate their growth.”
Business leaders, investors, regional leaders and government and industry representatives are encouraged to attend and explore opportunities to support the region’s future development.
