To help handle the volume Australia Post has chartered eight extra charter flights totalling 17 air freighter flights per day. And processing of parcels goes on 24/7. Meanwhile, a request from Australia Post – if you are sending parcels use flat packaging if you can so more can be loaded into the planes.
